Weird and Wonderful... maybe

I've noticed that most of the posts consist of some sort of Fairy Tail... or squished fairies (Colin) and i can see why, it's like the main thing you associate with the forest... witches, fairies, ghosts and goblins! they are all things which in many ways belong in the forest... Not in towns or Cities.

I didn't really want to go down the whole Fairy Tail road.. but didn't know what to do or what to post on this site...

UNTIL!! I saw Sarah Kate's post with the Urinal tied to a tree... which i though was great and very funny!! and it got me thinking about inanimate objects cloths, books, Chessboards etc and mixing them with the Natural world (The Forest)
I think that it creates a weird and unusual sort of scene... it's not something you would expect to see while your waking threw the forest, it's putting inanimate objects in places where you would not expect them to be/see them... basically lol

I think that it gives a good sort of effect, with a sense of mystery attached to it, that provokes some sort/chain of thought,
like how did it get there?
who put that there?
and its an idea that i would like to continue with...

Em... what do you all think?!?!
any thoughts/feedback on the matter would be great!! lol
Thx!!

  4. This is a good route to take for anyone working with sculpture ideas, as it thinks outside of the box and considers not just natural materials but 'found objects' as part of the work..... the original artists who worked with this idea were Marcel Duchamp and also Picasso's early Cubist sculptures- try to check them out!
